Shiva is known for being a force of transformation. The symbol of Nandi (the bull) is symbolic for devotion, the serpent which makes the symbol of the Unalme “shivas third eye” which represents the journey to source and re-birth, how it spirals around and goes back and fourth until it finally makes its way to alignment.
The crescent moon expressing wisdom and change, and the trident expressing the trinity and 3 states of consciousness, enveloped around the whole universe and with its dark and gold and illuminating colors to represent the light that exist in the dark and finding the golden weaves in the silver lining.
